Before the aesthetic makeover, the patient has square jaws. Her nose bridge was a bit flat and the nose tip was not sharp. This is very common among Asian. Our face tends to be broader and flat.
In order to create a V shape face, we can use BTA to relax her masseter muscles (a muscle used for chewing food). The procedure is simple and almost painless. A small needle (smaller than the needle used for baby vaccination) will be used in this injection. No anesthetic cream is required and there will be no downtime. In less than 2 months, her muscles size will reduce and her face will look slimmer.
However, the skin may appear loose after the muscle reduction. If we try to tighten her loosen skin, her face can be even slimmer. In this scenario, PDO thread lift can be very helpful. A few pairs threads will be inserted under the skin. A layer of numbing cream will be applied on the skin before the treatment. The threads will then be inserted under the skin.
